During my 26-year career with the Chesterfield County (VA) Fire and EMS Department, I had the opportunity to serve the department as the Director of the Training and Safety Division. One of our legacy programs that my staff and I developed was a SOG for the conduct of outdoor training activities during periods of high temperature and high humidity.
