Social trends are toward a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year culture, and as a nation, we are sleeping less and attempting to accomplish more during our waking hours.  Nowhere are those trends more apparent than for firefighters and EMS responders, who are charged with the immediate care of our 24/7 society.
